School Meals
Meals are provided in-house and are available to all children in school. Children in reception, year 1 and year 2 are entitled to free school meals under the Universal Infant Free School Meals initiative. Meals for Nursery children are priced at £1.50 and, for other children wishing to have a hot school meal, we charge £2.30.
If you would like to pay for school meals online, please email admin@langdale.cumbria.sch.uk for details of the Arbor Parents Mobile App. You will then be able to pay for meals from your phone.
Your child may be entitled to free school meals. Click here to check if you are eligible.
We provide gluten and dairy-free options daily upon request. If your child has a food allergy or intolerance, please speak to a member of staff, who will be happy to discuss your requirements.

Allergen Information
The safety and wellbeing of our pupils is very important to us. If your child has a food allergy, intolerance or other dietary requirement, please inform the school so that we can provide appropriate information and support. Our allergen information is regularly reviewed to ensure it remains accurate and up to date. Please speak to the school if you require further information about the ingredients or allergens in any meal.

Fresh Home-Grown Vegetables at Langdale
We have been developing our school gardening activities to allow children to grow and harvest fresh fruit and vegetables on-site. This is a mindful and beneficial wellbeing activity which can be accessed at break times and during after-school club.
